Hamilton's Art Awards 2007

"Actor. Poet. Singer. Shutterbug. And a famous Hamiltonian who needs no introduction.
These are Hamilton's 2007 Arts Awards recipients, announced and honoured last night at a reception at the Hamilton Convention Centre."
Actor Tom Mackan, Poet Jeff Seffinga, Singer John Fanning, Photographer Dennis McGreal, Conductor Boris Brott.
Mayor Eisenberger was quoted as saying: "It is impossible to speak of Hamilton's artistic scene and its place on Canada's and the world's cultural stage without invoking the name of Boris Brott."

"The city also honoured 23 local high school students with recognition awards, part of the city's arts awards program for students."
